This was shot in Montreal's Metro, where people like to wear masks. There weren't many riders this day.

In Montreal, winter is long. Yet we remember there was a time when leaves were green and when the sun was hot.

This image was taken at sunrise on a cold January morning in the east end of Montreal. For a few brief minutes, a golden sun animated the shore, before again disappearing into the clouds.

I shot this just before sunrise at a spot just north of Montreal's port.
