Private and anonymous are the most valued features of blockchain and cryptography. Many projects are suffering because they are to open to the public. A good example will be BitShares. The users were never happy how easy it is to track the activity of the users done.
Many Crypto Projects are working on this issues because people like to be private. The same goes for Facebook. Most of the people on Facebook are using now private mode. For outsiders it is not possible to see what you are talking and share with your friends.
But here comes the secret - in STEEM it is the opposite. As more you give away from your private life you get more rewards. The question is, is this the beginning of a new trend? Do we need to be an entertainer and getting naked to get payment?
One more point is, that i didn't saw anyone complaining how transparent STEEMIT is. In the beginning, this was
surprising for me, but i think the people are reacting this way because most of us didn't invested into it, just mined or posted content. So the majority has no problem with this fact. This open accounts mentality brings money after all.
It will be interesting to watch, how thing are going here on STEEM in the coming month.
