Who doesn't enjoy natural beauty? There is an innate sense of beauty within everyone that stirs whenever we behold something lovely. I truly enjoy appreciating the beauty of elements found in the natural environment. Today, I am sharing the beauty of an insect I frequently encounter in nature—one that I find delightful to look at. Among the many forms of beauty in the natural world, the aesthetic appeal of insects is certainly one of them. Upon searching online for the insect I am sharing today, I found several names, one of the most striking being Rhyothemis variegata; however, I generally classify this type of insect simply as a dragonfly. Since I found it so appealing, I took a few photos with my mobile phone, and I am presenting a selection of them below for all my friends to see.
I spotted this beautiful insect perched gracefully on the branch of a weed in a crop field to the west of my workplace—the school—swaying gently in the breeze; I found it truly delightful to look at. It is a flying insect that is very familiar to me and one that I particularly like. In Bangladesh, these insects are most commonly seen at the onset of the monsoon season. A close look reveals beautifully shaped wings, featuring a blend of various colors. When I photographed it, the insect was resting with its wings spread wide, making it appear even more beautiful and captivating. Thank you to all my friends.
