What beautiful words @carolinacarddoza. Picking flowers from the garden is so convenient on the spur of the moment urge to give flowers. It does not have to be a big bunch, just a a pretty arrangement

They are remarkably pretty birds. They live in Queensland too and saw one not too long ago that I would have loved to get a photo, but it was gone before I snapped. Sometimes lucky and sometimes not!
