A vey cute cat @coquicoin with the cutest pink nose. While I like cats I have to admit never owning one, my family are more dog people. All 3 of our adult children own dogs which we dog sit of course.

Love the colour in your photos, which I am sure made your drive all the more sweet. But, I see why you need a 4 wheel drive, those dirt roads are very rough indeed. Fuel costs are excessive in Australia

So easy to get busy and forget a camera Jo. Thank goodness for trusty iPhones as they can capture scenes well I think. I really liked the colour of the red dirt roads - the colour stood out very well.

Thank you, much appreciate the boost.

No it is not possible to change the house too much due to the heritage listing rules. It has to look the same with modern facilities etc.

I contemplated entering for a nano second given my history but logic prevailed. Regrettably dirty broken down abandoned places elude me😊

It is one of nature's havens and have to keep reminding myself never to be taken for granted. Very nice of you to drop by @ace108.

Cities can be very colourless and extremely busy but hopefully your tropical city has lots of green parks, lots of trees and numerous colourful flowers.

Such a fun project @tengolotodo, I am sorry I missed the opportunity. But, lovely to be back on Hive again after my little break.

Just reading your lovely memories brought on with smells conjured up some of my own memories @coquicoin, like seeing the little garden mangoes in a bowl I immediately travelled to a very large mango tree

Do you throw your clothes into the boiler when you get home or are they thrown into the bin? Maybe burned? I am gobsmacked at the trashing, littering and damage sustained to these buildings. Anyway apart

How everything has changed, even from when we were travelling in the 70's. I loved it when there were so fewer fellow travellers in Rome and Florence. Not now.

Wow @lizelle, how frustrating when decisions are made by the local Council and or Government department make decisions that aren't thought through, local residents are not consulted etc. I love your tree

Hi @dennmarc, you would so enjoy this beach I guarantee. I so hope you get to visit, play and walk along the sand sometime soon. It is a treasure I never take for granted.

Great hunting @shasta, I love the moose family and their names. Who wouldn't like to be called Charm or at least be full of charm.😊

Thank you dear Jo, so lovely to be back. Good friends filled my mind when I opened up Hive again giving me the most pleasant feeling. And I appreciate my husband all the more after our little sojourn.

You too. Everyday flows at a great rate of knots, the speed is amazing. Grabbing onto the adventures is an essential. So today is definitely a Sunday walk on the surf beach across the road.

I love the little bits of wisdom that is flowing here, it is such an essential ingredient at our age.

Hello lovely @redheadpei (Jo), so nice to be back on Hive to see your creative collages again. Hope all is well with you. 💜

I have not been on a beach that has not had a blow, gale or breeze, so wonderfully exhilarating @joanstewart. But I do see the danger of swimming without the presence of a lifeguard. Our surf beach across
