Gamescom 2016, Europe's biggest trade fair for interactive games and entertainment kicked off today.
Even though it will be fully open to the public as of tomorrow, the 18th of August, I was amazed by the amount of people that were able to get in today given the fact that the first day is available only for businesses and the press. "only".
It seems thousands of people were able to get their hands on Guest Invitations from all the companies that are exhibiting there or are benefiting from a special set of Trade Visitor entry passes.
Now moving to the fun part, as it's certainly been a fun day for the visitors of the big showoff halls, mostly Hall 7 & 8.
A close up of some Watch Dogs 2 characters
They have hundreds of computers that can be used by gamers to test various games (extensions)
Long lines that are very short comparing to what they will be in the next days. People wanting to try out the PlayStation VR, which is in a sold out Pre-order state right now might have to spend 1 day inline. I heard in the last years people have been waiting for 6 hours in general to get in and try out the new Sony stuff..
Definitely looking forward to the next days of exploring the other halls.
