RE: Koinos and Hive: What's the difference and why?
This is correct. Also, founders such as myself invested capital. We actually spent money to build the blockchain and our company.

RE: Koinos Consensus Algo: Proof-of-Burn
Youāre absolutely right. Itās a good start, not a cure. Itās a āmitigationā which is a word I really like. We rarely say weāve solved a problem, just that weāve āmitigatedā it which basically means āreduced

RE: Koinos and Hive: What's the difference and why?
Thanks for digging into how Koinos works. Miners produce blocks in exchange for inflation. Miners burn KOIN in exchange for VHP 1:1. How much they earn is based on how much VHP they have, but as they receive

RE: Koinos x Hive
Koinos is a free-to-use general purpose blockchain. Yes, Hive doesn't have fees, but it's not free-to-use and most importantly, it's not a smart contracts platform. To learn more about the important difference

RE: Koinos x Hive
Yup. Mana is an evolution of the RC system that underpins Hive which was written by Michael (one of the architects of Koinos). The main difference is that you don't have to stake in order to use the blockchain

RE: Koinos x Hive
Yes, such changes would be trivial on Koinos. In fact, there would be no need to even discuss them, any developer could just code up the behavior in a smart contract and deploy it to the chain.

RE: Koinos x Hive
Everyone does not have the same mana. 1 KOIN has 1 Mana. So if you have 100 KOIN, you have 100 Mana.

Yup! As long as you have the private key and the recovery phrase for that account, you're good.

RE: KOIN Snapshot Date ANNOUNCED
If after the snapshot the ERC20 tokens have any value, then there is no risk in selling them. I don't expect them to have any value because they have no utility.

RE: TOMORROW: Feature Complete Koinos Testnet Launch
It will be very easy for mainnet, a little more technical for testnet. But in both cases there should be good "how tos"
