"Talking about X makes me want to do X or believe in X only more."

This is similar to the Streisand Effect, except without the logic of it.

For instance, talking about how buying and eating meat encourages an industry of lack of care, rape, and murder, often has those who just want to enjoy a nice burger saying this about meat.

It is not always without reason, as the mere mention of Onision can demonstrate. There are definitely vegan narcissistic assholes.

Likewise, this is also said in relation to God, except with even less cogency.
"You talking about how you lack faith in God only makes me believe in Him more."

Well of course it would.
When you confront people about their irrational beliefs, they're going to cling to them. And they want you to STFU, and it's imagined that saying that you talking about it making them believe more will do that. In a sense, they're right, but only in that you're convinced they aren't worth talking to, relegating them to being shown an example of my those watching them not care about logical consistency.

The main problem occurs if there are a lot of them, and then communications become jammed by their incessant declaration that what they believe is true, which brings to mind a phrase from Hitler:

"A lie told often enough becomes the truth."

Being the loudest and having your position beat out all others is the norm for religions, and the most successful of them is statism.

The notion of religious indoctrination HAS to be balked at and mocked by those who practise it, lest they be confronted with the truth of what they are doing. That creates the necessary projection that atheists "deny the reality of God", as well as that they are immoral sinners who "just want to sin."

This is because it is assumed that humans are inherently evil and in need of an outside force to save them, which is exactly the same idea of government. This inner chaos, if it was properly recognized, would change the world overnight. It MUST be rejected, and that is how and why things keep turning to more and more shit.

Their human egos cry,
"The EGO and gall of MAN to act as though he were GOD!"

While then having the gall to assume that their chosen savior is OBVIOUSLY correct, as opposed to the thousands of other possible Gods.

They MUST call attention to the fact that you're "wasting" your time talking with them about this, and they MUST ignore that they are likewise talking with you as well and wasting their time too. And they MUST talk about how your life must be empty.

Otherwise they'd be faced with theirs.
That is why they shout.
That is why they plug their ears.
They have invested too much and it is too painful to admit that they... might be wrong.

It is with sadness that I make this post.
I had long forgotten about this horror chamber of God-echoes. This is why I stopped talking with the religious. Most have been trained thoroughly to not think, but parrot those common theist phrases without end.

And it's because it starts with kids.
Which is why all religions want to rape children's minds as soon as possible.

Because they don't stand under any scrutiny.

I'm not talking about whether there is "more".
I'm talking about the specific Gods that they actually mean. It's only by that slippery slope of the general concept to it also meaning their specific God that the scientific reality of our interconnectedness via quantum mechanic's non-locality can be so abused by people like Deepak Chopra.

It's horrifying to look back into that chasm again.
