Riding into: Descentralization vs Centralization
In balance, and equilibrium...
A great power comes with great responsability. Every detail counts, ninja prevention.
1. Cold Storage Wallets
Many Many wallets, keep your coins into a centraized server. Thats is not the most secure way to store bitcoin, ethereum, dash, or any other coin.
JAXX
Multi cryptocurrency wallet. Used cold storage to prevent your private keys to be stored in a centralized server. It supports the favorite coins of mainstream adoption. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dash... for the moment.
XAPO
Also with Cold storage of your keys and coins... and the current way I spend bitcoin with Xapo Debit visa card. There is no fees for dollar consumption.
For both Jaxx and Xapo... we get a community of people, concerned about security and providing a good customer service for the us, the clients. You can search both ceos of Jaxx and Xap in YouTube.
2. Decentralized Exchange
Important it is, to achieve total decentralization. With the recent hack... we better prepare and prevent for possible vulnerability.
BitSquare
An exchange for bitcoin and altcoins, with p2p system. decentralized :)
In this type of exchange, first of their class, real peer to peer transactions.
The actual exchange I use; Poloniex... is good, I trusted to manage my coins, but will centainly migrate to a decentralized and less hackeable options.
3. anonymous internet navigation
Information is very important, and the baits we leave behind, can lead any children into our crypto assets.
In a past post, I covered the Security Prevention measures, to protect identity; in a quick glimpse here there are:
- Brave Browser:
block trackers and protect your identity in every internet use.
- encypted email: ProtonMail.com -
offers encrypted email to protect account registration and verification. Better alternative for Googles's and Outlook's centralized service. Waiting for the NEXT-Coin launch blockchain encrypted email :)
- use 2 emails, one private for wallets and sensitive procedures. and the other for regular signup, and contact.
- Passcode/Password: use Unique password for sites, better use variety of numbers and letters, you can use ( ) (space_) to separate and fragment your password.
4. BlockApps.net
If Mainstream is going to enter cryptoworld in the next months and years.... Block apps provide a simple and easy customizable Ethereum's Blockchain Application development.
BlockApps STRATO is a scalable Ethereum compliant platform for rapid development, deployment and management of enterprise blockchain applications. Our platform enables enterprises to develop early Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and scales all the way to full production systems.
So if you want to develop an app, better build it in the blockchain..., and better, in our precious Ethereum.
Theese tools make a huge difference. I secured my coins in coldstorage wallets. Still use poloniex, but will be heading into BitSquare for decentralized alternative.
Have a good day :) be conscious of your deep breathing. ! Cheers
