RE: Late Season Cannabis Grow, Getting Close To Harvest
I have been feeding them a dilute solution of liquid fertilizer when I water them, so I think they have enough nitrogen, at least I think so anyway...

RE: Finding stable ground
Your garden is looking good so far this year. It's interesting that you can keep plants like kale over the winter and they start growing again. It's too cold here for too long in the winter for me to do

Thanks for the reply! I use the railroad for moving heavy stuff such as bags of garden soil. It's easier than using a wheelbarrow.

RE: @rukeros takes a break | New beginnings
The harvest is mostly done now, except for digging potatoes and harvesting carrots. I always do them in the fall.

RE: Garden Journal< End Of Season Update
Yeah, I put in more tomato plants this year than I did last year. It's probably a good thing since some of the tomato plants got blight and the tomatoes are getting rot spots before they get ripe. With

RE: Gardening update 24/09 and the gardening challenge!
Grass is always the biggest challenge I have in my garden. Most of thew other weeds are easier to manage. I hope you don't have too much trouble with the grass this garden season.

I'm sorry to hear about your parting of ways with Choli. Making a display like you did has it's own measure of healing power. As you move into spring, we in the north are moving into fall. You're getting

Thanks for the reply! I've been a bit overwhelmed with the garden and canning all the beans and tomatoes, and I just haven't had the mental energy to write a post for the last few weeks. Hopefully I'll

RE: Garden Journal for August, The beginning of the harvest season is always so much fun!
Your garden is doing really great! I like those raised garden boxes that you have the carrots and beets in, no bending over there!

With gardening, you're always learning something new... The tomatoes look pretty good, for being in such a hot climate. Has the monsoon season been helping your garden?

That's some crazy landscape! Those bigger chunks of limestone might make decent building material, but I don't know how well that would work with permafrost.

Nice bunch of tomatoes! I think that corn ear has aphids. Your bug spray should take care of the problem. The melons look like they might be a honeydew melon.

RE: Crusoe Economics and Yo-Yo Reels
I've heard of these reels, but I've never had one. It would be interesting to try one to see how they work.
