I think you have good command on English language, and I wouldn't be expecting less from a Literature student. It's nice to meet a real soul on Hive from our region (as you might know, we keep on coming across several fake accounts belonging to Pakistan).

So far as the pros of Hive is concerned, I totally agree with you. The opportunity to write and be heard is the benefit that is above all. We get acquainted with our own deep perceprions, ideologies and cognitive processes. Having an opportunity to discuss our ideas with others expands our horizon of knowledge.

About cons I would say people always find a way to game ANY SYSTEM, no matter how fool proof the creator tries to make it.
