Your second last sentence sums it up pretty good.

It is pretty much an acocunting device for things like lending. Synthetic BTC is kind of like an IOU that is accounted for in the LP. So 1 synth BTC would end up being 50% RUNE and 50% BTC at all times.

I still think down before ATH. Not sure how far down, but I think we will see the 60K's again in short order.

I bought the keepkey right after the ledger fiasco. I still have it, but have minimal assets on it. (mostly old defi positions that are too worthless to bother with)

Yes, you are right, it is hard to explain... ALL gets sold to RUNE. 50% of that RUNE goes to the borrower (and can be swapped for whatever asset you want to borrow, the other 50% effectively goes into

But really, it could be that you need a car, or have an unexpected expense pop up and you don't want to sell your crypto. You can borrow against it and incur no tax for the transaction.

This is a good strategy if you feel the risk is worth taking on. You keep your collateral and get 50% more exposure...

The liquidity auction is such a good way to launch. I was in the Maya launch. Hindsight is 20/20 and I wish I put in way more... but the risk is too high not knowing the outcome. I am excited for this

The loan is settled when you take it out. Collateral sold to RUNE... 50% back to you in asset of choice, 50% to the LP of the collateral. Debt/loan accounted for on blockchain. It is more complicated than

I got a KeepKey, it is pretty nice. It is a massive wallet (think 5 times the size of a trezor), but other than that it is pretty sleek. Ledger is integrating THORChain (slowly), so whenever that happens

If THORChain makes it through the bear gauntlet that is inevitably coming, there are going to be a tonne of ignorant laser eyes with big regrets. I mean, you could potentially (at max risk) have near 50%

I believe there is also a FULL solar eclipse in April. If a full moon swings the market... what will this eclipse do. Wasn't FTX exploding also coinciding with an eclipse???

Huge news... big win for all Hive users with this integration.

The beauty of Maya Protocol is that it has deep RUNE/Cacao liquidity. A pool on Maya opens doors to THORChain pools (as well as ChainFlip pools if you use El Dorado Market).

Hive should get a pool on Maya Protocol. (THORChain fork). It is small, it would likely be open... and it has deep RUNE liquidity which means HIVE would be able to direct trade with any THORChain or Maya

That really was the point. The whole thing is a tragedy of killing. I am sorry my comment got lost in translation. Justification is the word... they are justified because.... this happened. If you don't

If someone punches you in the face, are you justified punching them in the face one hundred times harder? Asking for a friend.

This is the ETH /ETH Classic moment for THORChain. Front ends are going to decide if they are permissionless or not. The chain itself will run, billions will be swapped. Some front ends will cave to pressure,

THORChain did not cave to any pressures. The dev's of THORswap, a centralized front end, shutdown their front end. THORChain has been active and remains active (although it has halted from majority node

THORChain is transparent. You can see all of the trades the "hacker" made.
