Being able to take out their tank in the first round is huge. It isn't always the case, but if I'm able to take out the opponent's tank while mine is still in the fight, I feel that I have some nice momentum.

That's a good point about not using the same word for arguments and objects. I've confused myself so many times when I'm writing a longer block of code and can't remember what is supposed to be what.
