Cleaning wild plants or weeds with simple scissors will take a bit of time & effort, I sometimes use pesticides to help speed things up. But this is certainly not environmentally friendly :)

I agree that it is an alien butterfly and at a glance it also crossed my imagination that it looked like dragonfly eyes (Damselflies). I really like all three @kgakakillerg :)
