What is indifference?

This is a state where someone lacks interest or concern towards another person, something, subject, topic or ideas. It can also be seen as apathy, that is total lack of interest. Though they can have little interest about other things.

When a person is indifferent he/she technically lacks enthusiasm, empathy or passion. This results mostly after some series of experience that tends to results to failure, embarrassment, disappointment and so on. After putting in efforts, having high expectations on a person, situation and at last having negative feedbacks.

Indifference can be observed in various spares of life, from relationship, personal goals, politics, social issues and so on. Sometimes it can be seen as a factor of being self-esteem while other time as attributes of fear lack of confidence and ability to perform.

That is, it is important for us to note. Indifference have both positive and negative implications.
On one side it can help individuals remain objective and determine therefore avoiding unnecessary stress. On the other hand makes individuals lack empathy, compassion and hinder them from meaningful engagement with others.

This is my experienced from a friend of mine. You know we live together in same apartment. But we rarely talk to ourselves. Not that we are having issues no. Is just that we are different from each other. May be from our background How we grew the experiences we had tends to differ us. We only greet in the morning and welcome each other back home. That's all! Smiles…. I will always ask. James what's wrong we rarely talk or gist at leisure we done even engaged in playing games or other things why? He will always said I don't know how to start. I don't have interest. You know I tried but I doesn't seems to work. Sometimes I got angry seeing my neighbours having fun with themsythe way they talk and so on. But I sat down and thought to myself. I can't force him to play. I can't make him do what de doesn't want to. But I understand that he always engaged himself whenever it comes to reading and asking important questions. Then I knew though he lacks interest on the other things he shows and have great interest here.

We live together I tried my best to understand him.and we are happy. He rarely talks to anyone, unless there's a task he is involved to. He always like doing things alone. And sometimes he accepts to go through pains by not asking for help or assistance from others. I see that, he will be strong if he eventually succeed or suffers if he couldn't make it.

So indifference is not about forcing someone or one is trying to feel pompous on others but it has to do with experiences and development of one.
To be able to free yourself from indifference is to forgive the pass, free yourself and start again by being intentional. But is has to do with sacrifice of not minding shame of learning and losing standard.

Just know Indifference can either affects you positively or negatively.

From your couleauge alakuvictor@alakuvictor saying a big thank you for having me here!
