During two day holidays without internet, I was thinking about why I am excited to cryptos and blockchain, what do I expect to them, and some kind of similarity between blockchain/dapps and basic income, which I was wondering for a while and couldn’t describe well. Now they become a bit clearer. It's good as I couldn't fall asleep easily these days thinking about these ;)
Cryptos have convenient features that fiat currencies don’t have but more fundamentally they have a potential to make our society happier: Using cryptos I can send small amount of tokens to a person who doesn’t feel good with a message „For a piece of cake. I wish you feel good soon“ as I bring some sweets to my friends and family to have a cup of tea in the same situation in the real world. Or with capitalgain of cryptos, which I regard as a kind of re-distribution of wealth to not always but mostly liberal people, people may buy cake for family, decide to do something nice for society and so on. It is not be that simple though.
I think basic income has similar effects to let people be kind to each other, be creative and be adventurous to start something new such as study, business, having a child etc without financial worries for daily bread.
I see some kind of future to platforms like steemit, utopian.io etc that distribute reward to contributors. These can be a source of additional income. If the reward is few hundred dollars its as much as basic income already and it’s not really impossible with current SBD rate.
It was pity that there was a big crash on Bitcoin price few days ago, but I’m still optimistic about cryptos and blockchain future. I wish they do good in 2018 and bought small amount of STEEM to power up. I’m happy to see my up vote adds $0.04-0.05, which means few times more with current SBD rate :)

インターネットのない休暇中に仮想通貨やブロックチェーンに私は何を期待しているのだろうとか、あとこれは結構長い間考えているのですがブロックチェーンとベーシックインカムってどこかで何かがつながっていそうとか、あれこれ考えていて、少し考えがまとまってきました。
仮想通貨については法定通貨にない利便性などいろいろよいところがありますが、根本的なところで、友人・知人が元気がない時におまんじゅうを持って遊びに行くように「おまんじゅうでも食べて元気出してね」と小さなお金を送ったり、通貨の値上がりで懐があたたかくなった人たちが「家族にケーキでも買って帰ろう」「せっかくだし何かいいことしよう」とちょっとまわりを気にかけられたら、やさしくなれたらいいなと思います。そんなに単純ではないと思いますが、アーリーアダプターのリベラルな人たちへの富の再配分、少し社会が丸くなる富の再半分になればと願います。
ベーシックインカムについては月に定額が支給されることで気持ちに余裕が出てまわりに少しやさしくなったり、何かをはじめる時の「生活どうしよう」という心配が軽減されたりといった効果があるのではないかと期待しています。仮想通貨や報酬が配分されるタイプのプラットフォームはベーシックインカムと似たような効果がある気がして、そこに私は期待してわくわくしているような気がします。Steemitもそのひとつとしておもしろく、今のSBDのレートを考えると月数百ドルという人は普通にいて、定収入ではないけれどそれってもうベーシックインカムの域。
数日前にビットコインの大暴落がありましたが、来年も仮想通貨やブロックチェーンがよい形で生き延びてくれるといいなと願いつつ、私もちょっと何かいいことをできたらいいなとSTEEMを買ってパワーアップしてみました（ビットコインで持っていても下落するかなと思ったのもありますが・・・）。$0.04-0.05、今のSBDのレートを考えると実質その何倍かがupvoteでつくようになってうれしいです。
2018年、のびのびと生きやすい社会になるといいな。
