One of my heroes in history is Florence Nightingale. I've not only read about her, but I have read her notes. She was so attentive to a patient's comfort. To her, the environment in which a patient recovered was as important as any medicine administered.

Don't forget to look after yourself as well whilst you're on taking care of your husband

I do, but when you've been married as long as we have (53 years) it's hard to separate one interest from the other. Plus he is much loved. I have wonderful children and a very fine cat :). It's a team effort.
