Dry Season is the season that comes with many waves for Agriculture. During dry season, a lot of winds are usually blown and the weather is usually somehow for crops thereby making a some to dry, some to die, and some to struggle but they have their benefits.
For Agriculture, dry season usually makes the soil more beneficial for next season farming and gardening. During dry season, every plant usually get dried, bushes are burnt, waste products are also burnt, many fruits get damaged and fell to the soil, dumps are all everywhere. All the mentioned effects are usually helpful to the soil because they'll all remain on the surface of the soil to the time raining season will start. Raining season will then rain on all the damaged, spoiled, dried leaves, and other wasted products and make them soft. When they became soft, it'll be an opportunity for those items to enter the soil thereby becoming fertile to the soil and crops.
Dry season is the best time for farmers to make the crop they wish to plant next farming (raining) season preserved. The crops we keep at our backyard and leav the open for air to touch them are usually more active during dry season. Crops are more preserved during dry season because the weather is usually cold in the morning and sometimes throughout morning and afternoon. During afternoon, the weather will become worm and before evening and night it becomes normal. All the steps taking by weather during dry season are more helpful to crops kept to be planted next farming period.
For seeds kept to be planted next farming season, dry season usually helps to keep them safe by drying them. The drying of seeds during dry season is usually gradually than when they're kept under the sun. The sun will dry seeds but may kill some because of the over hotness unlike dry season that's gradually. Seeds that are preserved during the dry season, almost all usually stay healthy and when planted, they'll all grow.
For tubers, dry season help the make them strong and also help to preserve the for next farming season. The only thing about tubers in dry season is that the have to be kept open where they'll stay for months till the time they'll be planted. As they're kept open, the changing weather of dry season usually touches them and make the to stay healthy without decaying inside. For the fact that a tuber is receiving normal weather conditions especially that of dry season, they will stay to the time they'll be planted.
For Fruits, dry season mostly help human for consuming them. It's during dry season that most fruits usually ripe unlike raining season that helps them produce. This is the more observation that fruits usually turn yellow which shows they're due for harvesting. I have done a particular practice where I harvested unripe mango, and banana. I kept them to see the time they'll ripe. This was done in dry season and it didn't took long like the raining season and they were riped.
Dry season has its own help for agriculture and human. So, we can't only say it's bad because of bush burning, not allowing most crops to grow well, and many others.
