Constructed in 1933
this wooden octagonal platform stands
grounded in the sea
as a landmark in Edipsos

Rumour has it that in the late 30s
melodies of Eduardo Bianco & his orchestra could be heard
even on the surrounding waters of the Northern Evoikos Gulf.

«ΚΥΜΑ» had a dry spell during the painful period of the occupation
and around the summer of 1942 it came to life again ...

In fact, Ouzo 12
was first offered to the public on this platform ...

Throughout the years this structure suffered extensive damage
including the risk of collapse.

It has been designated by the Ministry of Culture as a "listed monument"
& recently it was reconstructed and enlarged within the framework of the project "Restoration of the building of Kima in Loutra Edipsou" of the Sterea Region, financed by the NSRF.
