I don't see how Hive doesn't stay functioning, the bare minimum to run a witness is very low thanks to work done by the blocktrades team. Even if I'm overpaying for witness servers right now by having

Well I wouldn't say no one's doing anything about that. OCD had one of the best user retention rates in history on this chain which has been verified by others and I'm working on rebuilding it now on
