The website https://coinmarketcap.com/ is an important reference for people in the cryptocurrency world - for various reasons.
It shows you which project gains attraction currently. When you watch it regularly it shows you which currencies get traded a lot and which projects are gaining in value. This should not always be taken as only source for projects; code is a more important indicator than the market cap or trading volume. But for me it has brought some projects to sight which I would not have looked at without being listed there.
When being involved in the scene a lot, you can watch changes over your portfolio and the currencies you hold quickly, also on which market they are being traded. Said enough, I thought it might be interesting to have a quick glance on changes on coinmarketcap via archive.org
