Hello bird lovers! I was on the farm of some friends, and I crept up to a pond that was almost dry, attracted by the typical sound of the killdeer (first photo). I sat down on the opposite bank and stayed quiet so I could photograph it at ease. Very restless this little bird, but even more restless was the Greater yellowleg that showed up a little later. This bird doesn't leave its neck alone, I really don't know how it can see anything with so much movement. The followed images are the same, but in their original framing. Thanks for your time!
Thanks for the opportunity!
