I couldn't have known I would be here
Wouldn't have understood it from that perspective
Yet it happened
In an irrevocable way
For days I was numb
Devoid of all thoughts acts
Curled up from the world
Yet strong I become
Felt life was a puzzle
But now I know better
A puzzle but you make the choices
Either by your actions or in actions
Life deals with us sometimes
But what do you make out of it
You stand up brave?
Strong?
In my weakness I have strength
Not because I am strong
But because He dwells in me
Strengthening my mortal body
Moments to look back
And I shall be joyful
Because He won it all for me
I could speak Christianese
But only from a well of being deliberate shall I draw
I am Strong
I can do what he says I can do
I can have what he says I can have
So I have peace
A joy that wells up from his presence
An assurance I am confident in
