Too many people (myself included when I first started) attempt to launch their online business without any real budget in mind. They have no idea what is coming in or what is going out.
Remember, the idea of owning your own business is to build it up so it turns a profit. You should have more coming in than going out. Take your time and setup a budget that works for you.
Our email marketing lesson at ListNerds is all about giving value. If you're just pitching offers to your subscribers, you're wasting their time.
Just think about this. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY subscribes to someone's list saying to themselves "WOW! I can't wait to get pitched offer after offer from this person!" People sign up to your list/newsletter to get value.
Sure, the occasional pitch is fine. But it's important to build that trusting relationship along the way. Do this, and you'll find that your offers convert a lot better when you do pitch.
